Happy Day Plants celebrated its 5th Anniversary with a ribbon cutting ceremony and festivities.

This semester, we welcomed six high school students from Boulder Valley School District’s APEX program to Happy Day Plants!

Summer Lunch Bunch, a free, weekly drop-in gathering was created for our friends with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to meet up, have lunch, and spend time together.

Happy Day Hangs and Hangs Jr. came together for their first combined outing at Centennial Lanes in Longmont! With 40 participants across seven bowling lanes, the evening was filled with bowling, laughter, new friendships, and plenty of cheering each other on.

Thanks to the generosity of Boulder County Fair attendees and Leticia Walstad's support, $1,372 was raised for Happy Day Plants!

As the days get shorter, your home may be ready for a little more green. Discover why fall is a great time to bring home a houseplant, which plants thrive in lower light, and how to help your indoor plants adjust to the changing season.

Join us for the Happy Day Community Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Happy Day Plants.

A four-month journey of skills, confidence and community for our volunteers.

At Happy Day Plants, we believe plants have a way of bringing people together. That’s why we’re excited to launch Learn to Grow, a new educational program designed to bring hands-on plant learning to students in our community.

This July, we celebrated one year of Happy Day Hangs—and what a year it has been!

Happy Day Plants is proud to announce its largest plant installation project at Hotel Longmont. As a Grow With Us partner, Hotel Longmont helps create meaningful employment opportunities for adults with disabilities through ongoing plant care services.

The success of our participants at Happy Day Plants is truly a team effort, and Blaise, a dedicated job coach for Josiah, plays an important role in that support.

2025 began with a simple belief: when you give individuals of all abilities meaningful work, everything grows. And grow we did.
