Happy Day Hangs + Hangs Jr. Hit the Lanes for Our First Combined Outing
Sometimes, the best way to build community is to simply get together and have some fun.
That’s exactly what happened when Happy Day Hangs and Happy Day Hangs Jr. came together for their first-ever combined outing at Centennial Lanes in Longmont in August.
With 40 participants across seven bowling lanes, it was an evening full of strikes, spares, laughs, high-fives, and plenty of new connections.
Bringing our adult Hangs participants and Hangs Jr. participants together gave everyone an opportunity to meet people they may not have crossed paths with otherwise. There was plenty of friendly competition on the lanes, but the real win was seeing people connect. Participants cheered each other on, celebrated good rolls, helped one another, and spent time getting to know new faces.
We’re grateful to everyone who came out, to the families and volunteers who helped make the evening possible, and to Centennial Lanes for welcoming our group. Most of all, we loved seeing our special needs community come together.
