As the success of our Happy Day Hangs program for adults has grown, we saw a clear need and opportunity to create something similar for younger participants. Happy Day Hangs Jr. was developed to extend our mission of inclusion, connection, and meaningful experiences to students in grades 6 to 12.

Happy Day Hangs Jr. is a structured program offered in small groups that focuses on creativity, friendship and real world skill development. It provides a space where participants can build confidence, develop social skills, and feel a true sense of belonging while having fun and participating in interactive activities. Each session is thoughtfully planned and led by a team of staff and volunteers who prioritize safety, encouragement, and inclusion. Every gathering features something a little different—from movie nights and art activities to themed nights with games.
