Meet the Next Generation of Community Builders
This semester, we welcomed six high school students from Boulder Valley School District’s APEX program to Happy Day Plants! APEX connects students with real-world learning experiences through partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits, giving them the opportunity to apply classroom skills, take on meaningful projects, build career skills, and learn in a professional environment. They’ll be working with us through December, gaining hands-on experience while supporting special projects like planning our Community Celebration and Friendsgiving, creating social media and marketing content, and helping around the shop. We’re excited to see the creativity, ideas, and fresh perspectives they bring to Happy Day Plants. It’s a partnership where everyone gets to learn, contribute, and grow.
