Happy Day Hangs Jr. is more than a program—it’s a movement rooted in kindness, creativity, and the belief that friendship should be accessible to all. With the support of volunteers, community sponsors, and the team at Happy Day Plants, each Hang is intentionally designed to promote joy, social connection, and a strong sense of belonging.

About Happy Day Hangs Jr.
As the success of our Happy Day Hangs program for adults has grown, we saw a clear need and opportunity to create something similar for younger participants. Happy Day Juniors was developed to extend our mission of inclusion, connection, and meaningful experiences to students in grades 6 to 12.
Happy Day Juniors is a structured program offered in small groups that focuses on creativity, friendship and real world skill development. It provides a space where participants can build confidence, develop social skills, and feel a true sense of belonging while having fun and participating in interactive activities. Each session is thoughtfully planned and led by a team of staff and volunteers who prioritize safety, encouragement, and inclusion. Every gathering features something a little different—from movie nights and art activities to themed nights with games.

The cost to participate in Happy Day Hangs Jr. is $15 per session. This fee helps cover the cost of supplies used during activities and projects.
One caregiver is welcome to stay if needed to support their student. However, we encourage caregiver drop off whenever possible to help promote independence, confidence, and peer connection in a supportive environment.
