About the event
For five years, Happy Day Plants has been more than a plant shop — it has been a place where people find purpose, friendships, and belonging. Our Come Sit With Us campaign is inspired by a simple but powerful idea: everyone deserves a place at the table.
Research shows that approximately 40% of individuals with intellectual disabilities experience loneliness, highlighting the importance of creating opportunities for meaningful friendships, social connection, and community. Through our programs like Happy Day Hangs, Happy Day Hangs Jr., and our employment opportunities, we are working to combat isolation and create spaces where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
During our celebration, we invite you to Come Sit With Us and help support these programs that bring people together. Guests can participate in our fundraiser throughout the day and help us continue creating opportunities for connection, friendship, and belonging for adults with disabilities.
